A viral blog?

Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but there's been few things happening. Busy busy busy.....

Anyway, I have found an interesting blog at leadsleap.

One of the posts asks and answers the question "If you were to start from scratch with NO list, NO JV partners in your niche, and all you have is $100 capital, what would you do to start making sales for your niche membership site within just 15 days?"

Read the answer here.

What's so awesome about this is that the blog is VIRAL. If you join leadsleap you can send people to read posts at the blog, add it to social bookmarks etc. If anyone then decides to join up, they sign under your affiliate!

I'm still a bit confused with it all the power that leadsleap offer myself, but if the increasing traffic to my website and opt-in list is anything to go by, it's well worth your while to have a look.

Extra streams of income

I'm back after holidays and some personal issues and wading my way through heaps of stuff. Over the past few days I have started getting a few things off the ground that I have had pictured in my head for a while. Now I'm on a roll, for the time being anyway.

I have set up a new blog for those who want to trade to earn some extra income. I am showing my trading diary so that people can be inspired to start trading if that's what they want to do. Check my online trading diary here.

Another great way of building an extra income stream is with property investment. There are many different ways of investing in property and I'm discovering all of them so I can educate you.

One way is tax liens and I've set up a blog on that also. I personally have never used tax liens because I don't understand them properly and don't see how I'll find time soon. Having said that, I can see that they are a fabulous investment and that many people could easily make money from tax liens.

At first glance it seemed a highly immoral way to make money because you profit from the inability of people to pay their property taxes. However, after slapping myself around a bit I realised that the world will be a much better place if I had heaps more money! I'm guessing the world would be better if you had heaps more too. We can all do good together. We can't help the poor and underprivileged by being one of them.

Anyway, you can find out about this rather lucrative investment niche by looking at my tax liens blog.

Hopefully it won't be so long between posts.

bye for now

Earn money taking photos

Did you know that you can earn money taking photos without being a professional photographer? Plenty of sites are willing to pay money for photos taken by amateurs.

Anyway, I've found this fabulous ebook that sells for up to $49, but I'll sell it to you for only $17. It's called the "Photos for Profit Guidebook" and it will teach you how to make money from photos - some that may be already stored on your hard disk.

I'm not saying that you could make a full time career out of it, but if you take fabulous photos, can point and click a mouse button to upload the photos to websites why not have a go and earn a few extra dollars in your pocket?

Read the sales page for Photos for Profit Guidebook here and see if this a money making opportunity you could use.

Have you joined The Sandpit yet? Come and play in the personal development sandpit and enjoy some product discounts, a free ezine and some great money making ideas available only to members.

I'd love to hear some feedback.

Squidoo and Forced Money and Keywords

Well, I now have 2 lenses up on squidoo. The success mindset lens and a new one reviewing a new business opportunity called Forced Money. You can read my lens here if you're interested.

Anyhow, the point is I put my forced money overview lens on squidoo yesterday afternoon and within 2 hours it was coming up on page 1 of google when people entered "forced money" into the search engine! Woo hoo - good on ya squidoo....

Whilst enjoying myself and searching over and over for "forced money" my head getting bigger by the second thinking how clever I am I came across a site called yedda.com that I'd never heard of before. It's a site that allows you to ask questions and I saw someone asking if "Is Forced Money a scam?" which had a link to a lens that has a review on it as well.

So like any good internet marketer you copy what seems to work for other people so I created an account (free) with yedda.com and asked this question.

Lo and behold that entry also came up on page 1 of google for the keywords "forced money" and it only took a couple of minutes!

I got a grand total of 12 hits to my lens and most went on to the Forced Money website and read the sales page, although sadly, no one purchased.

But why only 12 hits when I had entries on page 1 of google?

Because Forced Money is a product that's only been released in the past couple of weeks. Few have heard of it so why would they bother searching for it? It's important to realise that if you want hits to your website people have got to be searching for your keywords.

In this instance I'm happy with the few hits I've got so far. Once more people hear of Forced Money, the more people will search and the more hits I'll get if I maintain my first page rankings and I'll do that by adding fresh content on a regular basis.

Interestingly, yesterday when I searched there were only around 3,000 competitors, now there are around 4,000 competitors so the word is spreading....

Hope you learn something from this post. Essentially what I wanted to show you is that it is possible to be on the first page of search engines simply by using a lot of the free tools on the internet.

Anyway, I'm now going to add some content to my squidoo lens.

Oh, and don't forget about qassia and hubpages.... Results there would be similar I think, it's just that there's only 24 hours in a day so I haven't done much with them yet.......

Until next time

Overcoming obstacles

Picture this, you and the kids are attending a Disney on Ice production at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Then the worst happens. Fire breaks out.

In a perfect world everyone would calmly and quickly walk to an exit to escape the flames.

As we all know the world is not perfect so what is more likely to happen is that panic sets in and people would rush blindly to the nearest exit creating complete pandemonium.

Before long, all the exits would be jammed with people trying to get out with the horrible result being that no one left inside the stadium would be able to get out!

So, the problem with getting everyone out of a burning stadium is that all the exits would be totally jammed because of the unhelpful, but totally understandable behaviour of everyone panicking.

Interestingly, it has been shown that the best way to ensure the exits remain unjammed is to place an obstacle directly in front of the exit. This forces people to go around the obstacle before they can go through the exit. Many lives could be saved if there were obstacles placed in front of exits........ (How dumb does that sound?)

I learnt this when watching the science show Catalyst one night. See the story Panic Dynamic for yourself.

It occurred to me this morning when returning home from the supermarket that roundabouts work on this principle too. Think about it. A busy intersection, no traffic lights and no roundabout. Could be stuck in traffic for ages while the cars in front are giving way to everyone else and all you want to do is go straight ahead.

Now think about a busy intersection, no traffic lights still, but it has a roundabout. Traffic flows smoothly and quickly.........

Does all this change your perception of obstacles in your life? Perhaps we should embrace obstacles instead of moaning about them? Perhaps the are trying to tell us something.

What do others think?

Hmmmmm
Until my next post

Squidoo, HubPages and Qassia

In the never ending quest for traffic I have a couple of suggestions.

As far as I can tell in my limited experience so far - Squidoo, HubPages and Qassia are all fairly similar. Despite the fact they are similar it's probably a good idea to spread your efforts across all three platforms.

I have started a squidoo lens that you can look at here. I am attempting to get traffic to my site and/or sell Michael Lee's persuasion ebook. Either outcome is a winner as far as I'm concerned.

Squidoo lenses can come up on search engine results too, so my goal is that if people search on the term "success mindset" at google then my lens will appear in the top 10-20.

Currently if a squidoo user types "success mindset" into the search on squidoo I rank at number 2! Not bad at all. That should translate into traffic for me!

Anyway, this is all very very new to me so I'll let you know how I go. However, I am confident that with a bit of tweaking here and there I can have it all working beautifully.

Just wanted to share in case you could use this tactic too. And did I mention they're free? Well, they are free!

Good luck

List building using joint ventures

Perhaps I'm the last internet marketer on the planet to finally realise the potential power of some joint ventures proposals I've received and (to my regret) ignored in the past.

For some reason I read an email this morning from someone I didn't know about a JV giveaway event and it finally clicked! An "ah ha" moment if you like!

I'll explain it the best I can and if you too realise the power, go ahead and sign up under me with the link I give you (which is free by the way).

If you have an ebook that you have giveaway rights to what you do is sign up to this giveaway event. When you log you can add your gift.

To add your gift you simply give the url of your landing page (which will be a form for your optin newsletter) and the url of the download page where the gift resides.

It is exactly the same concept as giving away a freebie from your website in exchange for an email address except there will be heaps of marketers promoting this site, translating to heaps of visitors, which translates to heaps of potential optin subscribers. In a previous post I have mentioned how valuable these optin subscribers can be to you.

If you are a newbie and don't have anything to give away simply optin to receive my ezine and you'll be given subscriber only access to quite a few ebooks that you can giveaway in this massive event. A lot of the ebooks are suitable for any niche such as Law of Attraction and some are specific to particular niches.

I'll be letting you know how I go. If you decide to participate let us all know how you go by commenting to this post.

best of luck

Never give up!

I am writing this post just to let you know the only way you'll fail is if you give up! And sometimes giving up is exactly what you'll want to do. But don't!

I'm not saying that you should keep banging your head against a brick wall and keep doing exactly the same things you are now. The ultimate in stupidity is to keep doing the same things but expecting different results.....

What I am saying is that if things aren't going as well as they should given the amount of effort you are putting in, it's time to take stock.

First off, you probably need to take a break. Maybe just a day or two or may be a couple of weeks. You'll know how much time you need....

You'll return with renewed vigor. Don't be tempted to slip into your old habits though. Spend some time studying how you can improve things. Go to websites that you like, check out the competition - see how they are doing things that you could do too. Copy bits and pieces from here and there to come up with your own unique twist on doing things.

Also, if you haven't already checked out my website please do so. The website is in the personal development/self improvement/self help niche. You'll find articles there that can be copied and put into your newsletters or on your website or blog. Whatever your niche your customers, downline etc etc are bound to need a bit of boost at times and you can do that easily if you copy my articles. (Just make sure it is allowed by checking under the resource box. If copying is allowed it will say so.)

Obviously, if you're in the same niche trying to target the same visitors and customers you will probably look elsewhere for articles as you will need to keep all my links intact, but you could copy and modify my ideas if you think they'd work for you.

You'll find the articles here.

Until next time.

Blogger forums - a great place to advertise your blog.

In my previous article I spoke about blogging as a method of getting traffic to your website. This time I'll talk briefly about advertising your blog.

Whatever your blog is about one of the best places to advertise your blog is to join a blog forum. They are also great places to meet other bloggers.

There are quite a few blogger forums that you can sign up for on the internet. Just googe "blog forums" and see what shows up. One is known as Bloggeries, where you can show off your blog, get your blogreviewed or review other blogs, and find lots of tools that you can use for your own blog.

Another good place to go is to Blog Forum.

Blog Forum, like Bloggeries, has spots for you to market and show off your blog,

Blogger forums are a great place to advertise because everyone in them are of the same mind and want to make certain that their blogs get noticed and read.

If you use your blog to advertise something that you are selling, or you want to get a lot of traffic to your blog in order to make money, you want to go someplace where it can get exposure.

When you advertise on a blog forum, you know that you are placing your advertisement in a place where blogging is something that people enjoy.

Just remember when you are posting to a forum to read the rules and abide by them. That way you’ll get your blog noticed and you will know that you are doing the
right thing.

Free Internet Marketing Method - Blogging

Do you have a blog? If so are you using it effectively to promote your website?

Blogging has been around for years. Only recently has it been considered as one of the addicting fads. Many teenagers use blogging as an outlet for their emotions, a little online nook where they can blurt out whatever just bugs them or whatever makes them feel elated.

Savvy marketers have discovered that blogging is one of the best internet marketing methods and it doesn't cost a cent.

What exactly is blogging? Blog is the widely used term that refers to web log. Basically, a blog is an online journal. A blog can be set up to no cost at all, and can be used for just for the fun of it or for business reasons. This blog costs me absolutely $0.

Blogging for your internet business is one surefire way to boost the visibility of your products and services. What follows are a few tips to boost your internet presence with the help of a blog:

1. Make your clients or customers abreast on your website's alterations. Your new products and affiliate websites could also be announced through your blog. With my website, any alterations are included in a blog (not this one). Click here if you want to have a look.

2. Keep track of your business objectives and plans through open writing. Your blog content can be easily stored through archives. What could be better than searchable information that could be easily accessed by anyone browsing the web, right?

3. Air your opinions, advice or reviews on specific services or products that are related to your business. Publishing is a very easy process with blogging.

4. Include links that will fetch back links and subsequently improve your ranking on search engines. Affiliate links could also be included in your blog to earn more extra income. If you look down the side of this blog you'll find many affiliate links.

5. Collect response through the ability of blogs to fetch comments from your blog readers. You can learn and improve your products and services through with the feedback from your readers. Please feel free to comment on this or any other post on this blog. Remember to include your website link because if I do publish your blog having a link to your website will help boost its rankings in the search engines.

6. Connect easily with other bloggers. When other bloggers notice that you have something good in your blog, they will put you in their favorite lists that will automatically link you to their blogs.

So, how do you set up a blog? Here are some of the options you can make use of to take advantage of this fun way to advertise your internet business.

Either you load a blogging software or let a blogging hosting service do it for you. Host services such as LiveJournal and Blogger.com are the most popular in this field. Those hosts will provide you with easy instructions on how to put up your blog.

This blog is a blogger.com blog, and believe me, it is very easy to use.

Go ahead and set up your blog. Let me know where it is and I'll have look and maybe even make a comment.

Tips to Get Repeat Web Traffic

1. Update the pages on your website frequently with fresh, relevant content. Stagnant sites are dropped by some search engines.

2. Offer additional value on your website. Offer links to other websites that complement what you offer on your website. Your visitors will notice that you are simply trying to help raher than just sell to them. You will also be seen as an "expert" rather than a "salesperson".

3. Allow customers to ‘opt in’ to get discounts and special offers. Place a link on your site to invite customers to ‘opt in’ to get a monthly newsletter or valuable coupons. This is my opt in page. Treat customers who have opted in like gold. Never spam them and don't hassle them by emailing every day. Make sure your newsletter is full of valuable content and offers

4. Add a link to your primary page with a script ‘Book Mark or Add this site to your Favorites’.

5. Add a link ‘Recommend this site to a Friend’ so that the visitor can email your website link, with a prewritten title, “Thought you might be interested in this”, just by clicking on it.

6. Brand your website so that visitors always know they are on your site. Use consistent colors, logos and slogans and always provide a ‘Contact Us’ link on each page.

7. Create a ‘Our Policies’ page that clearly defines your philosophy and principles in dealing with your customers. Also post your privacy policy as well so that clients know they are secure when they visit your site. In fact, if you are displaying adsense ads you must have a privacy policy that is accessible on every page of your website.

8. Create a FAQ page which addresses most of the doubts and clarifications about your product or your company that are likely to be asked. This helps to resolve most of the customers doubts in their first visit to your site.

8. Ensure that each page on your website has appropriate titles and keywords so that they can find your site again if the lose the bookmark.

9. Make sure your navigation buttons are appropriately labelled so that customers can find their way around your site easily.

10. Check out SBI and see how it ensures that your website gets repeat traffic and lots of it!

Hope this article gave you some great ideas for getting those all important repeat visitors. After all, if people get to know and trust you they are more likely to buy from you rather than go to the competition.

Some essential features your website must have

For a start, make sure your visitors feel secure enough to become customers. Give them this free ebook which gives them strategies and techniques for shopping on line safely. After all, even in this day and age not everyone feels comfortable handing over personal details online.

Anyway, the following article assumes you've got the visitors - thanks to SEO. Here are some hints and tips to keep them coming back and ultimately making that purchase.

Just don’t focus on the home page, keywords and titles.

The first step to sales when customers visit your site to see the products they were looking for. Of course, search engine optimization and better rankings can’t keep your customer on your site or make them buy. The customer having visited your site, you now ensure that he gets interested in your products or services and stays around.

Motivate him to buy the product by providing clear and unambiguous information. Thus if you happen to sell more than one product or service, provide all necessary information about this, may be by keeping the information at a different page. By providing suitable and easily visible links, the customer can navigate to these pages and get the details.

Understanding Your Target Customer

If you design a website you think will attract clients, but you don’t really know who your customers are and what they want to buy, it is unlikely you make much money.

Website business is an extension or replacement for a standard storefront. You can send email to your existing clients and ask them to complete a survey or even while they are browsing on your website. Ask them about their choices. Why do they like your products? Do you discount prices or offer coupons? Are your prices consistently lower than others? Is your shipping price cheaper? Do you respond faster to client questions? Are your product descriptions better? Your return policies and guarantees better than your competitor’s? To know your customer you can check credit card records or ask your customer to complete a simple contact form with name, address, age, gender, etc. when they purchase a product.

Does your website give enough contact information?

When you sell from a website, your customer can buy your products 24 hrs a day and also your customers may be from other states that are thousands of miles away. Always provide contact information, preferably on every page of your website, complete with mailing address, telephone number and an email address that reaches you.

People may need to contact you about sales, general information or technical problems on your site. Also have your email forwarded to another email address if you do not check your website mailbox often.

When customers want to buy provide enough options like credit card, PayPal or other online payment service.

Yes, the above article is compliments of PLR. Sometimes my brain just feels too dead to bother changing it and making it mostly my own. That's the beauty of an internet business though, it doesn't have to be difficult. You just have to provide valuable information to people who are searching for it.

Keyword Density

Users enter search terms into a search engine. The terms they are searching for, from an internet marketers perspective, are called keywords.

Keyword density is an indicator of the number of times the selected keyword appears in the web page. Keywords should not appear too often on a web page or search engines will think you are an artificial or spam site.

Keyword density is expressed as a percentage of the total word content on a given web page.

Suppose you have 100 words on your webpage (not including HMTL code used for writing the web page), and you use a certain keyword for five times in the content. The keyword density on that page is got by simply dividing the total number of keywords, by the total number of words that appear on your web page. So here it is 5 divided by 100 = .05. Because keyword density is a percentage of the total word count on the page, multiply the above by 100, that is 0.05 x 100 = 5%

The accepted standard for a keyword density is between 3% and 5%, to get recognized by the search engines and you should never exceed it.

The best places to include your keywords are in your headline, the first paragraph and a text link. Depending on the length of your page, you can have a smattering of keywords wherever it makes sense, but remember, the total should not be more than 5% maximum.

Simple steps to check the density:
• Copy and paste the content from an individual web page into a word-processing software program like Word or Word Perfect.
• Go to the ‘Edit’ menu and click ‘Select All’. Now go to the ‘Tools’ menu and select ‘Word Count’. Write down the total number of words in the page.
• Now select the ‘Find’ function on the ‘Edit’ menu. Go to the ‘Replace’ tab and type in the keyword you want to find. ‘Replace’ that word with the same word, so you don’t change the text.
• When you complete the replace function, the system will provide a count of the words you replaced. That gives the number of times you have used the keyword in that page.
• Using the total word count for the page and the total number of keywords you can now calculate the keyword density.

SiteBuildIt which I use for my website, allows you to check that you have put your keywords in appropriate places so that google will fall in love you!

How Do Search Engines Work

I have been raving on about seo over the last few posts. I decided to do some research to find out how the search engines actually work. What follows is what I found out.

The search engines bring your website to the notice of the potential customers whey the customer initiates a search.

A ‘spider’ is an automated program that is run by the search engine system. Spiders visit a web site, read the content, read the Meta tags and also follows any links. Search engines use spiders to index websites. When you submit your website pages to a search engine by completing their required submission page, the search engine spider will index your entire site.

The spider then returns all that information back to a central depository, where the data is indexed. It will visit each link you have on your website and index those sites as well.

The spider will periodically return to the sites to check for any information that has changed. The frequency with which this happens is determined by the moderators of the search engine.

A spider is almost like a book where it contains the table of contents, the actual content and the links and references for all the websites it finds during its search, and it may index up to a million pages a day.

When you ask a search engine to locate information, it is actually searching through the index it has created. It is not actually searching the web. Different search engines produce different rankings because not every search engine uses the same algorithm to search through the index.

One of the things that a search engine algorithm scans for is the frequency and location of keywords on a web page, but it can also detect artificial keyword stuffing. Then the algorithms analyze the way that pages link to other pages on the web. By checking how pages link to each other, an engine can determine what a page is about and if the keywords of the linked pages are similar to the keywords on the original page.

Hope you found this interesting and useful.

Until the next post.

Hugs
Sharon

Is PPC an alternatve to SEO?

Pay-per-click is a way of advertising on a search engine. The best known PPC is google adwords.

When a search is done on google we see websites that have been optimized for the keywords we entered into the search box and we see sponsored listings. Those sponsored listings will be charged each time someone clicks on them, but first there is a bidding process to determine who will appear at the top of the sponsored listings. The highest bidder for the price per click will get the chance to be the first listed in the search engine.

With this kind of advertising, you can still basically control your campaign as you get to create your own ad. You will also manage the target audience and still stay within the bounds of your budget. Most of the providers of PPC advertising will allow you to specify the target market, either by topic, industry or geographical location. You can also check if your ad gets to be shown at all and if it is competitive with the similar ads.

There are some guaranteed benefits when you get to maximize the PPC strategy.

 PPC lets you advertise to the whole of the online community. It is also relatively easy to set up.

 At first glance, PPC advertising may seem very expensive. Could it possibly happen that someone out there will go on clicking on your ad? This will definitely give you a large bill without the expected profit on your part. If this provides a lot of worries, be rest assured that there is a protection for you. Networks are able to recognize fraudulent clicks.

 You can also set a budget for a certain period. The moment your budget has been used up by the target number of clicks, your ads will no longer be displayed until the next period you want it again displayed.

 You will also be able to adjust well to changes in market demands and trends.

In deciding whether SEO or PPC will work best for you, think of your goals and resources. Take the PPC route for your short-term goals and choose SEO if you have long term ones.

In my website business I'm definitely in it for the long term, so I build my website with SEO firmly at the front of my mind. However, I have affiliate products that I want to promote to start earning money immediately, so for that, I use PPC.

Before even beginning to set up a google adwords campaign I recommend you do the 5 days to success with google adwords ecourse. It's free and could save a lot of money as PPC is not cheap if you don't know what you're doing.

Please feel free to leave comments for any of my posts.

Using articles to build your list

We have spoken previously about getting visitors to your site using SEO. That's all well and good but we need a way to keep them coming back. Studies have shown that it takes a visitor being exposed to you at least seven times before they'll consider a purchase.

Many experts agree that the money is "in the list". If we can get people to voluntarily give us their email address we can contact them regularly, essentially reminding them of our existence. It also builds a relationship. People will only make a purchase if they feel they know and trust you.

So, give them an incentive to opt in. Offer a free ebook in exchange for their email address. In my case I offer all my subscribers Revenge of the Online Shopper in exchange for their opting in. The ebook contains common sense advice about protecting yourself and your money while shopping online. A lot of people are very hesitant about handing over banking details which means we could be losing out on sales.

(By the way, if any of you want to grab this little gem of an ebook to give as an incentive to your customers- feel free. You'll just have to put up with the odd ezine from me! But you'll cope. If you can't you can unsubscribe.)

Anyhow, once you've got people on your list, you'll need to send them promotional material that is presented in an interesting way that keeps them wanting more. The best way to do that is through articles.

Well written articles full of content and useful information will help in building your list as more subscribers will be enticed your list. Perhaps in each issue you could suggest that readers pass on the ezine to their friends. Their friends may enjoy your articles so much that they opt-in too.

The article need not go into the newsletter, rather a link to the article from your newsletter which has the benefit of people actually visiting your site. Who knows, they may click on some adsense ads.

There have been the rise for the importance of well written, information enriched and keyword packed articles for the content of their site as well as for newsletters. These articles provide the information many are seeking in the internet. If your site has them, more people will be going to your site for information and research.

Well written articles would also boost your sites reputation. If they are filled with many information you will be regarded as well informed and an expert on the subjects that you tackle. Your articles must be well researched so that the people will trust you. When you have gained their trust, they will always come for you for their needs on that subject.

In connection, you must write articles or commission them to tackle subjects that are closely connected with your type of business. If you have a site for a medicine tackling a certain disease, your articles must be about the diseases. Or if you sell materials for home improvements provide articles with those themes. Most articles searched for are tips, guidelines, methods, manuals and such. If you provide these articles to your customers and you have their trust, they will always go to your site for help and advice as well as for your products.

With the loyalty of these customers, they may subscribe to your opt-in list to receive all the information you have. If you provide them with the answers for that need, they will be happy to be receiving your newsletters as well as other promotional materials to keep them well informed. Others may even forward your newsletters to other people when they find a certain article interesting.
Make sure to keep your subscribers happy and interested in your newsletters and promotional materials. Keep on posting and writing good articles for your site and newsletter. If you are not interested in writing them or if you just don’t have the time, there are many available well experienced and knowledgeable writers available to help you out.

Many online businesses offer their affiliates access to many articles and, in some cases, allow the resource box to be edited to contain your affiliate link.

This is an investment that will pay for itself in time. And at times it seems to take a frustratingly long period of time to realise the fruits of your efforts!

Anyway, hope to see you on my opt in list.

hugs

More on Search Engine Optimization

My article yesterday spoke about search engine optimization and how there is no getting around it if you want to be successful online. In fact if there is a secret to being successful online I'd say there are two components.

1. Have a product that people want/need.
2. Get that product in front of those people so they know it exists.

People use search engines to find answers to a particular problem. For example, let's say you are marketing a product called "Fuel Magic" which cuts down fuel consumption by 75% when a tablet is added to your fuel tank.

Unless the customer already knows there is such a product available it's unlikely they would ever type "fuel magic" into a search engine. What they might search for are terms such as "how to reduce fuel consumption" or "tips on saving fuel". If Fuel Magic happened to appear in those search results my guess is that people would click on the ad (afterall who wouldn't want to 75% on fuel costs?)

Would they buy the product? That depends on a couple of things.

Firstly, how much is it and will the price stop people from buying it if it works out more expensive than what the fuel would cost? That would depend on why they wanted to cut fuel consumption. If their motivation was to save money, then no they wouldn't. However, if their motivation was to reduce green house gasses they might.

Secondly, if price wasn't the issue for them they would probably want to know whether the tablet would do harm to the engine, whether the car manufacturer would honour any warranty if such an additive was used etc etc.

The above two points would have to be covered in your sales copy. The point is getting people to read your sales copy in the first place.

We already have two ideas for keywords - "how to reduce fuel consumption" and "tips on saving fuel". Now, they both sound reasonable, which one do we target?

This is where keyword research comes in. Keyword research will tell you how many searches there are for each term, the number of other sites out there competing on those keywords, and other terms that people are searching for that you may not have thought about eg "how to save on fuel". The trick is to find terms people are searching, but for which there is little competition.

Keyword research is labourious and time consuming but soooo rewarding when you see your page listed on the first page of google! Trouble is, it can take many months to see results causing many newbies to feel that it is not worth time time and effort to do the research.

With SiteBuildIt, the product I use to build my website, keyword research tools are already there and included in the total yearly cost of having an SBI site. No need to pay extra for a tool such as Wordtracker although I do recommend Wordtracker for those that don't use SBI.

(It's also worth noting that hosting, development tools and autoresponders are also included in the price of SBI.)

Ignoring SEO guarantees online failure! Ignore it at your peril.

Hope this article was of some benefit to you.

Search Engine Optimization And Why There's No Skipping It!

Setting up a website to do business on the internet is all well and good, but people have to be able to find it. Many people use search engines when looking on the internet and most will never look past the first one or two pages of search results.

Therefore, it is highly desirable to have your website appear on the first two pages of results and preferably the first simply because you have a high probability in being clicked when you rank that high. Then, if your website contains excellent content full of useful information on the search term the more business you will rake in. Remember people will not usually buy the first time they come across your business therefore it is important you capture their contact information.

Then, of course, after struggling to the first page of search results you want to stay there, and that takes work too.

So just what is search engine optimization and do you have to use it? The answer to why you have to use it is an easy one. You need search engine optimization to be ranked highly so that people find you. Search engine optimization is organizing your web pages in such a way that search engines list your pages when users enter a search.

Search engine optimization requires a lot of work to be fully realized. There are many aspects you have to change in your site or add as well to get search engine optimization. These will include getting lots of information about the keyword phrases that are popular in regards to your sites niche or theme.

You may also need to rewrite your sites contents so that you could get the right keyword phrases in your site without making it too commercial but light and informative. There are certain rules and guidelines to be followed with making your site’s content applicable and conducive to search engine optimization.

You will also need to collaborate with many other sites so that you could get link exchanges and page transfers. The more inbound and outbound traffics generated by sites among others are one of the components search engines uses to rank sites.

If you can part with some money, there are many sites in the internet that can help you in search engine optimization. There are many sites that help in tracking keyword phrases that can help your site. There are also some content writers that have lots of experience in making good keyword laden content for your sites that have good quality.

Act now and see the benefits garner with search engine optimization. All of these will result to better traffic and more business for your site and company.

In my next posting I will describe specifically what I am doing to get my sites ranked highly.

At the very least, what I want you to take away from this article is that there is no way out of search engine optimization - and it is hard work. But it is worth it, afterall you won't survive in this cutthroat business if people can't find you.

Top 3 Ways to Boost Your Affiliate Commissions Overnight

Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't updated this blog for a while but I have been away! My family and I spent the long weekend at Couran Cove. We had a fabulous time, but I was exhausted after all the bike riding, basketball playing etc etc. It was full on! The kids wouldn't let me relax at all! Oh well, at least I know I'm fit. The fact I had to push the bike along instead of riding sometimes is no big deal, my legs were sore... The kids thought it was hysterical. Oh well, good luck to them.

Anyway, I'm back and I have another "cheat" article. Yes, I haven't written what follows myself, but that doesn't mean that it isn't good stuff. It is and I hope you get something from it. (thank god for PLR)

Top 3 Ways To Boost Your Affiliate Commissions Overnight

The ideal world of affiliate marketing does not require having your own website, dealing with customers, refunds, product development and maintenance. This is one of the easiest ways of launching into an online business and earning more profits.

Assuming you are already into an affiliate program, what would be the next thing you would want to do? Double, or even triple, your commissions, right? How do you do that?

Here are some powerful tips on how to boost your affiliate program commissions overnight.

1. Know the best program and products to promote. Obviously, you would want to promote a program that will enable you to achieve the greatest profits in the shortest possible time.

There are several factors to consider in selecting such a program. Choose the ones that have a generous commission structure. Have products that fit in with your target audience. And that has a solid track record of paying their affiliate easily and on time. If you cannot seem to increase your investments, dump that program and keep looking for better ones.

There are thousands of affiliate programs online which gives you the reason to be picky. You may want to select the best to avoid losing your advertising dollars.

Write free reports or short ebooks to distribute from your site. There is a great possibility that you are competing with other affiliates that are promoting the same program. If you start writing short report related to the product you are promoting, you will be able to distinguish yourself from the other affiliates.

In the reports, provide some valuable information for free. If possible, add some recommendations about the products. With ebooks, you get credibility. Customers will see that in you and they will be enticed to try out what you are offering.

2. Collect and save the email addresses of those who download your free ebooks. It is a known fact that people do not make a purchase on the first solicitation. You may want to send out your message more than six times to make a sale.

This is the simple reason why you should collect the contact information of those who downloaded your reports and ebooks. You can make follow-ups on these contacts to remind them to make a purchase from you.

Get the contact information of a prospect before sending them to the vendor’s website. Keep in mind that you are providing free advertisement for the product owners. You get paid only when you make a sale. If you send prospects directly to the vendors, chances are they would be lost to you forever.

But when you get their names, you can always send other marketing messages to them to be able to earn an ongoing commission instead of a one-time sale only.

Publish an online newsletter or Ezine. It is always best to recommend a product to someone you know than to sell to a stranger. This is the purpose behind publishing your own newsletter. This also allows you to develop a relationship based on trust with your subscribers.

This strategy is a delicate balance between providing useful information with a sales pitch. If you continue to write informative editorials you will be able to build a sense of reciprocity in your readers that may lead them to support you by buying your products.

3. Ask for higher than normal commission from merchants. If you are already successful with a particular promotion, you should try and approach the merchant and negotiate a percentage commission for your sales.

If the merchant is smart, he or she will likely grant your request rather than lose a valuable asset in you. Keep in mind that you are a zero-risk investment to your merchant; so do not be shy about requesting for addition in your commissions. Just try to be reasonable about it.

Write strong pay Per Click ads. PPC search engine is the most effective means of advertising online. As an affiliate, you can make a small income just by managing PPC campaigns such as Google AdWords and Overture. Then you should try and monitor them to see which ads are more effective and which ones to dispose of.

Try out these strategies and see the difference it can make to your commission checks in the shortest of time.

3 tips for affiliate marketers

Hi everyone

One thing I have mentioned a couple of times on this blog is the fact that you don't have to write every single article yourself. If you are time strapped - (and who isn't you can use PLR.

The following article wasn't written by me. I haven't even changed it slightly because I just haven't got time. However, it makes some good points so I hope you enjoy it.

By the way, if you want some good PLR for yourself have a look at All Private Label Content. Some PLR sites just give you a stack of PLR that you may not be interested in. All Private Label Content allows you to only purchase those subjects you are interested in.

Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the successful market that gives the biggest paycheck. Sometimes they think it is a magic formula that is readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.
There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online.

What are these three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.

3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.

Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.

The tactics given above does not really sound very difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.

Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving in this business that not all marketers can do.

Besides, think of the huge paychecks you will be receiving…

Secret to internet marketing success

Have you ever wondered if there is a secret to internet marketing success?

I guess we all understand it takes tenacity, determiniation, persistance, willingness to be open to new ideas and willingness to learn. After all a lot of us were born before anyone had even heard the term internet marketing so there are very few "natural born" internet marketers. The genes have just not had the chance to infiltrate down through the generations as yet.

Anyway, perhaps you have all the qualities I mentioned above and even a few more. However, unless you have one vital ingredient internet marketing success may still elude you.

The one vital ingredient is creating your internet business around something you love! Let's face it, even if you hate internet marketing, you can always hire someone to help you do that for you while you get on with the job of writing ebooks, sourcing information etc on your much loved topic.

In fact, success can come from nearly anything you do. If you have a solid plan and work consistently to see it through, you’re bound to enjoy some lucrative results. However, the likelihood of sticking to your plans increases by a lot if you’re actually enjoying the journey.

There are many benefits to having an internet business about a topic you love versus something that doesn’t inspire you, but here are a few big ones:

1) First, you’ll automatically give it a stronger level of effort and focus than you would with something that’s unpleasant or tiresome. You’ll avoid the temptation to procrastinate because you’ll actually look forward to working on it. In fact, you’ll be having so much fun with it that it won’t feel like “work” at all!

2) Rather than expecting to see big results from your efforts right away, you’ll see the value in letting the process unfold in its own time. With most goals, you’re focused only on getting it done, reaching the finish line before you experience a sense of satisfaction. When you’re doing something you love, the payoff at the end is just a nice bonus – the true reward comes from each moment you spend working on your labor of love!

3) You’ll have more fun in the process. Have you ever achieved something that was extremely difficult and strenuous? By the time you reached the finish line you were probably too tired and relieved that it was over to fully enjoy the sense of accomplishment you would have felt otherwise. With something you truly love, you’ll have fun the whole way through, and get a much bigger “high” when you finally do achieve it.

Many argue that commitment and determination to see it through are all that's required to be successful. In fact, if you’re disciplined and have strong willpower, you can make anything happen, whether you love it or not. But I think that's way too hard! Why risk your health and wellbeing by forcing yourself to be successful, when it's more than likely you'll be more successful doing something you love.

My love is personal development. I have come to really enjoy internet marketing as well. I realised quite early on that if I wanted to reach people with my personal development website, then I had to market it and fortunately I enjoy that as well.

The website development software I use is SiteBuildIt!. Grab a heap of freebies by clicking the link. Essentially, SiteBuildIt! provides an easy to use website builder, hosting, keyword research tools, autoresponders (although you may need 3rd party autoresponder when your business grows), analyses webpages to ensure the search engines will find them, automatically creates sitemaps and heaps of resources to walk you through step by step on creating your own internet business. (You don't even need to know what you want your site to be about as it has a brainstorming function to help you decide what is like to be more profitable for you.)

The only criticism I have about SiteBuildIt! is that the page builder becomes a bit "clunky" once you begin to get comfortable with HTML. However, there is no need to use the site builder if you don't want to as there is the functionality to upload your own HTML pages.

As of today the price is only $299.00 per year which is extraordinary for what you get. I highly recommend you check this out, particularly for those without a website or those with a website that just doesn't work.

Hope you got something out of todays article.

Publish your information products at YouPublish

I have found a great new site YouPublish that allows you to publish your information products online for nothing! If someone buys your product you go 50-50 with YouPublish. So if you sell an ebook for $7 you get $3.50 and YouPublish gets $3.50.

So if you have some PLR products taking up space on your hard drive how about giving them a spruce up and selling them on YouPublish? Same goes for any products to which you have resell rights. Obviously, if you have created a product from scratch you can sell that too.

I personally think this is fabulous for newbies as there is no need to set up a shopping cart on your system, paypal, or figure out how to accept credit card payments and all that stuff. Gosh, you don't even need a website or blog! Just download the products ready for selling and let YouPublish do the rest.

YouPublish is not going to start selling until May 08 so you have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor. I've already started putting my info products up for sale.

This means it is yet to be determined exactly how good they actually are, but there is nothing to lose.

Introduction to squeeze pages.

If you've been around internet marketing for a while you'll know that "the money is in the list". Wish I got $1 for everytime I read that..... Wouldn't have to bother creating a business at all:-). If you're a newbie, take note, "the money is in the list".

So the question needs to be asked. How do you create a list? Unfortunately, just plonking a form on a website asking visitors to give you their name and email addressdoesn't work. You need to compel them to hand over that information and a squeeze page is designed to do just that.

The squeeze page ensures that even if a visitor doesn't buy from you this time, you can follow them up and build a relationship with him/her. Visitors are much more likely to buy from someone they know and trust.

The squeeze page is in sharp contrast to undifferentiated, unfocused home pages. Squeeze pages focus only on capturing leads for a newsletter or making sales for a specific product. Signing up is the only option on a squeeze page.

Another common word that is often used to describe squeeze page, is a “lead capture page".

It is important to recognize that all successful marketers use squeeze pages. If you plan to sell a product over the internet, you will want to use one too. Relying on sidebar opt-in forms and unfocused pages that do not convey a single point and a single call to action is pointless.

Another important point is that squeeze pages are purely focussed on a single goal – getting the visitor to become a subscriber or buyer.

Essentially a squeeze page contains:

a. opt-in form
b. introduction to product (can be brief or lengthy. Need to test.)
c. picture of product
c. call to action (subscribe to newsletter OR more information on product)

Do you need a blog or website?

Presumably you read my blog because you want to make money online. My primary business and passion, however, is personal development. I believe that in order to be successful you have to think, feel and behave in particular ways. Anyone who is truly successful thinks, feels and behaves in ways that are well documented. My business is to provide those resources so that others can learn to be successful (according to their own definition of course). And I do that from my website.

So, the reason I blog is because I want to pass on what I have learned about internet marketing. I am essentially documenting my online journey and my goal is to turn all these posts into a coherent course or ebook about internet marketing that will ultimately sell on my webiste for mega bucks:-)

Marketing an internet business is something that needs to be done whatever niche you're in so the majority of the posts are relevant to everyone. I figure, as I build my personal development website I may as well teach other people how to do it and ultimately make money from that.

Of course, if you have the money, you can hire search engine optimisers, writers for your content etc etc. At this stage I'm only a lone work at home mum learning while I am doing.

If you too are new to internet marketing you may think that a blog is a cheap alternative to a website. For example, this blog costs me $0. However, I need a website and you may need one too.

A blog and a website are two totally different beasts. So do you need a blog or website or maybe both?

7 must have shopping cart features.

If you want to sell your own products online you'll need a shopping cart.

Before commiting to a purchase, are the following 7 shopping cart features included in the software you are considering? If your shopping cart does include these customer friendly features there is more chance the customer will follow through with the purchase and come back and purchase from you again.

Feature One: Easy to use

Shoppers want to view information, add products to the cart, review selections, make changes, and pay simply by clicking buttons. The “add to cart” button should be prominently displayed. Navigating between product pages and the cart should be easy. Modifying the cart should be simple. Conversion is more likely when the cart is easy to use.

Feature Four: Automatically calculate totals

Keeping the consumer informed of total costs will build his or her confidence in shopping through the website. The shopping cart should show the product total, tax, and shipping costs. Many sites show a summary page as the final step before the consumer completes the transaction.

Feature Five: Has multiple payment options

Accepting payment through a number of methods will increase the likelihood that the transaction will be completed. Some customers prefer using credit cards. Some use PayPal. Still others use echecks. Providing a variety of payment options makes purchasing possible for a wider range of customers.

Feature Six: Security

Ensure encryption of personal data. Display the website’s privacy policy. Assuring consumers of the site’s trustworthiness eliminates concerns and encourages a mutually beneficial business relationship.

Feature Seven: Confirm the purchase

An automated email confirmation following the sale assures the customer that his or her order is in progress. As added assurance, many etailers find it a good practice to include contact instructions so the consumer can keep tabs on the status of the order, make inquiries, and track shipping.

Consumers look for ease of use, efficiency, and security when purchasing online. A well-designed shopping cart can meet these needs and increase conversion rate and revenue for etailers in a highly competitive market.

Make sure this list of shopping cart features is handy when considering a particular shopping cart for your site. I know that I have exited sites at the point of purchase because their shopping cart didn't seem quite right.

Flip content for dollars without writing it yourself

I just wanted to let you know about an ebook I got today. It's called PLR Content Flipping for Dollars and you can have it with my compliments when you sign up for Inspiration Matters. I read through it quickly today and if you're familiar with PLR I'm sure you'll get some great tips from reading it.

I'll be talking about PLR at a later date and giving my recommendations for obtaining decent PLR.

If you don't know what PLR is, it stands for Private Label Rights. Essentially what it allows you to do is modify content or not modify content in any way you choose and be able to claim authorship. When you're a newbie it sounds unethical to do such a thing, but believe me it's not.

Many people legally claim authorship of books and articles they haven't actually written themselves. If you read different newspapers you'll often find the same news article with different bylines. Many autobiographies have been written by a ghostwriter and not by the person the book is about.

Selling PLR content is another way that writers can make money. Let's say that a writer wrote a book, claimed authorship and got a publisher to market it for him/her. Assume that the book sells for $27 (roughly the cost of a paperback here in Australia). The author would only make a couple of dollars per book sold.

On the other hand the writer could write the exact same book and simply sell the PLR for whatever they wanted. Let's say $10,000. Someone else claims authorship of the book gets it published and then earns the $2 for each one sold. The book would have to sell 5,000 copies just to recoup the $10,000 investment.

In the meantime the writer has written another 2 books and sold the PLR for another $10,000 each. No publisher headaches, no waiting to see how many copies of the book get sold.

Doesn't pose a moral dilemma for me!

The only issue I can see with PLR is that there can be many copies of the same product with different authors out there which could damage your credibility. With PLR I recommend either making substantial changes so that it is different to other offerings OR don't claim authorship.

Anyway, PLR is something I'll definitely be talking about some more.

Sharon

No website? No problem. A simple business idea to try.

Don't let the fact that you don't have a website stop you from making money on the internet.

Just copy this business idea. Only cost is in advertising with Google Adwords, but that doesn't need to cost a fortune. I started with about $50 to discover what would work and what wouldn't.

When you see some success from your adverstising you will want to ramp the business up and that will cost a little, a very little!

Essentially, what I'll describe in this blog is how to advertise and sell downloadable audio books online. Think how huge the market for audio books is. Commuters, the blind, people who have difficulty holding a book, and so it goes.... Most people these days have an mp3 player or CD player.

First of all you'll need to sign up to be an affiliate of an audio books store. Leisure Audio Sales has a fabulous range, great affiliate support and training, and offers free excerpts so that customers can try before they buy.

Then you need to decide what titles you want to promote. Do you want to promote specific titles, an entire category or perhaps the entire store? The training section for affiliates gives ideas on what to promote and how (even offline promoting at doctors surgeries etc).

You'll need to sign up for a Google Adwords account. Get the advanced account straight away. It doesn't cost anything and it's a lot more flexible.

Learn all you can about Google Adwords from their website and do this free 5 day Google Adwords ecourse by Perry Marshall.

One thing you will learn is that you'll need some keywords for you ad. Keywords are how people search on the internet ie. what they type in to the Google search box. Google adwords are displayed on the right hand side of the returned results. This is where you want your ad to appear.

Your keywords will need to be things that people are actually searching for. To find this information you can get a free 30 subscription to Wordtracker. However, before you do this make sure you have completed the course and signed up for and found your way around the audio books website. That way, you'll have a full 30 days to concentrate on your keywords for no cost.

I'd be interested to hear how you go.

Until next posting

The Super Affiliate Handbook

I just thought I'd let you know of the very first ebook I bought on affilate marketing. The Super Affiliate Handbook.

I had barely heard of internet marketing but was doing a seminar with Sandy Forster from Wildly Wealthy Women who mentioned Rosalind Gardiner as the guru on affiliate marketing.

Sandy being Australian and living only 100kms from me how could I not take her recommendation?:-) Particularly as affiliate marketing sounded like a no brainer for getting started on line....

Anyhow, I went ahead and bought the ebook and signed up for quite a few things that she recommended. I was soooo eager to get my business started and I have never been accused of being patient.

The Super Affiliate Handbook is definitely worth the money, BUT if you are new to the internet I wouldn't buy any products she recommends JUST YET. Why? Simply because you won't understand the implications of any choices you make - don't worry, they wouldn't be devastating - just a waste of money.

Have you downloaded the free guide to affiliate marketing yet? There's a link just to the right of screen. Whether or not you buy The Super Affiliate Handbook my strong recommendation is that you download and read the free one as well.

Also there are free internet marketing guides on my website. Check this page often as new ones are added regularly.

Go here to read the salespage for The Super Affiliate Handbook.

That's it for today.

Do you want health and fitness to be your niche?

Well, if you haven't got a website and have even less clue about getting one then this health biz in a box may be a great place to start.

I'm sure you've heard of Dr Suzanne Gudakunst. If you haven't just "google" her. Anyway, she wrote an ebook called "Top Secret Weight Loss Secret".

Now she has health biz in a box that I think is definitely worth a look if you're in or want to be in the health and fitness niche. Read on to discover more.......

__________________________________________________________________________

Wise Online Entrepreneurs know that the best selling products online are health products and health-related ebooks, books, tapes, newsletter subscriptions, etc.

Now World famous Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst has just released her latest "shocker!" that makes it possible for just about anyone to profit from this fact.

She's making it possible for someone to get a fully-operational online "store" that specializes in "health-related" goods and services.

Literally now anyone can get a complete Internet "health" business in a box!

This complete website has a main product as well as up to 17 separate products that all center around breakthrough health products. And where YOU can earn some really HUGE CASH!

It seems that Dr. Suzanne has really done her homework (especially for YOUR benefit!)

First she correctly determined that according to Forrester Research (which is perhaps the most powerful & accurate online research database to date!) "health-related" products and information is by far the most sought after things anywhere online.

Nope! -- Despite what you might have thought, "sex," "porn," and "UFOs" are NOT the most searched for items on the Internet (but "health stuff" is hands down!)

Second, Dr. Suzanne's "Top Secret Fat Loss Secret" shook the entire World with its release recently - and she's even made a special lead-capture page that you also get central to this amazing site!

Why is this important?

Simple: because Dr. Suzanne's affiliates are making millions right now with what is perhaps one of ClickBank's HOTTEST products (and this same product is the central seller at your new health e-Biz site!)

Third, the site you get also acts as a "database" that never stops growing so that you get 10,000's of customers you can continue to sell to over and over again other things!

Why is this important?

Again, very simple: anyone who's wise online knows that "backend" sales are chief to making long term and extra profits!

Dr. Suzanne's NEW "Health Biz In a Box" complete and fully-operational website you get for next to nothing contains an electronic "Automatic Sales Manager" (like a salesman robot - Ha!) built-in that works to upsell to your list over and over again so that you enjoy additional "automatic" income!

Fourth, Dr. Suzanne health-biz site also includes a complete health-related products Shopping Mall so that your site visitors stopping by are likely to buy at least 1 to up to 17 additional products creating instantly for you up to over a dozen other income streams!

This way you get the "most bang for your buck" so to speak!

As if all this weren't enough, the fifth (and perhaps the very best) thing about this automatic seller is the tiny spokesmodel "Rachel" that literally walks out onto your Health-Biz site and guides your site visitors (like a tour guide) through your entire site and what it has to offer!

Dr. Suzanne carefully tested the site both WITH and WITHOUT "Rachel" and accurately determined that the addition of "Rachel" boosted sites sales by as much as 396% (meaning nearly 4 times as many sales!)

Dr. Suzanne believes that having the spokesmodel adds credibility as well as an informative approach to the site so that it generates a much higher "conversion-to-sales" ration at large.

And ALL these amazing features stand to make YOU very, very rich as you get all of them with your own "Health Biz In a Box" website!

If any of this floats your boat, then I highly recommend you get over to health biz in a box website and have a look.

...and because rumor has it that Dr. Suzanne may put a ceiling on the number of these Internet "health-biz" sites she's giving out in order to avoid everyone having one and risking market saturation.

Already people securing theirs have had nothing but great things to say about this:

"I'm so happy with mine! ... Having this site professionally set up by Dr. Suzanne's Team for us was the greatest thing we ever did! ... the site literally is just pouring money into our pockets even while we're doing other things, vacationing, and even crashing out!"
-Cynthia Conrad, Atlanta, Georgia

"I never knew that making money online could be so easy!"
-Richard Bosworth, SLC, Utah

"Health stuff is the real way to make money online easily ... everybody sooner or later has to have it!"
-Carla Dupree, Boise, Idaho

"I'm making about $6,000 a week with mine ... and this after failing on the Net for nearly 10 years trying to sell everything else!"
-Jason Herman, San Dimas, CA

"$500 a day is what this biz is shoving in my pocket! I even went out of town for nearly two weeks and my health biz site completely ran itself!"
-Michael Sorbowski, Mason, Ohio

As you can see by these people's comments, everyone grabbing their own automatic health-products Internet business is raking in the cash! (And now you can too by clicking here!)

I guess I should have added above that not only do you get all the things I've described thus far, but you also get professional customized set up at no extra charge!

That's right! - Dr. Suzanne's own Team of web experts actually build your "Health Biz" for you so you don't have to!

They:

- design your site
- put all the 17 income streams into place
- install the electronic sales manager for you
- add sharp selling graphics
- add powerful videos
- add several other webpages
- and a complete online shopping mall of health products!

All so that you can earn big income online and while you sell product that help people and that you can be very proud to sell.

So all in all this is perhaps one of the BEST instant online ventures worth your time.

Check it out here.

Whilst it all sounds wonderful, just remember that there are no get rich quick schemes. As good as the business is and as profitable as the health and fitness industry may, you will still have to put in some work.

OK,they build the website for you, and provide support, but you will still have to put in time and effort promoting the site.

Remember, your wealth will never exceed your level of personal development..... Subscribe to receive my daily inspirational quotes to continuously remind you of this fact.

No, I haven't actually bought the health biz in a box product, but that's only because I have so much on my plate at the moment. If I didn't already have a website though, I'd definitely be interested. I am, however, promoting Dr Suzanne's weight loss book on my website.

If you do go ahead and buy the website, make sure you let me know so I can have a look!

The eBay ban on downloadable products

Up until the start of this month people were able to buy extremely cheap ebooks on eBay on just about any topic imaginable. Prices were typically less than $1.

Now eBay have banned the sale of immediately downloadable products which means the sellers now have to deliver their product on a physical CD or DVD. Obviously the price will skyrocket, at the very least, by the amount it costs to ship the product.

So, despite the fact a lot of the ebooks were rubbish, there were heaps which offered good information. One popular topic was internet marketing. Unfortunately aspiring marketers are now looking at a hefty increase in their education.

Why would someone want to sell an ebook so cheaply anyway?

The answer is advertising. What you'll find in many ebooks are links that take you to a sales page for a product that relates to the topic of the ebook. So, for example, assuming your ebook was about pet care you may find links to higher priced ebooks such as "Caring for your Dog" and "Caring for your Cat".

I had just started selling ebooks on eBay when they decided to implement their ban. So I'll just be giving those same ebooks away from my website. You can get them here.

There'll be more ebooks added regularly, so check back often.

bye for now

Simplest way to make money online

When I say simple I mean that the concept is easy to understand. Anyone can do it if they put their mind to it and were prepared to spend the time to make it work. Unfortunately, there is no get rich quick schemes that actually work, despite the fact we are constantly bombarded with such claims.

When people first toy with the idea of starting a business, particularly an offline business, they realise that to get started it takes a substantial cash injection. Almost immediately they incur expenses for rent, stock, and so on.

With an offline business the money to getting started is relatively affordable. The major cost is time, but that is also true of an offline business.

Now, I said that I'd explain a simple way to make money online so here goes.

The first thing is to brainstorm what sort of business to create? This is easy!

Think of the things you love to do? Craft, watching movies, gardening, fixing cars, tennis, netball..... Whatever it is, write it down. Don't concern yourself with the level of skill you have in that area. Whether you are good at it or bad at it doesn't matter. You just have to enjoy doing it or learning more about it.

Then think of things that you know about. Perhaps you have a child with ADHD or some other disability. May be you have first hand knowledge of illness such as cancer or scleroderma. Perhaps you have overcome some major addiction and your life is back on track.

Look at your current occupation for skills. Maybe you're in the customer service industry and know heaps about conflict resolution. Perhaps you're a handyman that knows how to solve problems around the house.

So, write those things down. You'll probably have a list of three to four things. Can you build an online business on one of these things? I'm betting you think "no", but I know the answer is probably a resounding "yes".

Then have a look at this site Affiliate Scout. Also google "affiliate programs". Look at the results to see if there are affiliate programs related to the topics on your list.

So, what is an affiliate program? For example, lets say someone has written an ebook called "How to Stop your ADHD child having a tantrum at the supermarket". That person has set up a website to sell the ebook for $27 that can be downloaded instantly after payment.

OK, that's all well and good but how do all the people who have a child with ADHD know that the website actually exists? Afterall, if no one knows about the website then no one will buy the book will they?

So, the author has to advertise and that could cost thousands depending on how, why and where they advertised. The problem also is that the author is not a marketer (probably), he/she is an author and would rather spend time writing more books rather than learn about marketing.

That's where we as affiliates come in. The author offers us a percentage (and it can be as high as 75% or more) if we direct traffic to their site and subsequently make a sale.

So, it's a win/win situation when the author makes a sale from someone who was directed from an affiliate site. (Remember, unless the author wants to spend lots of money and time on marketing themselves it is quite likely that most of their sales would be affiliate sales).

Doesn't that sound easy? It is, a child could understand the concept.

However, do you need a website? If so, how do you build one? Once built, how do you get traffic to it? It's the old situation of the more you know the more you realise you have to know (if that makes sense).

As a matter of fact, you don't need a website. You could promote affiliate links through traffic sites, blogs (like this one), forums and social networking sites.

However, if you want to build a serious online business you'll need a website eventually. You can get to my website through the link on my "About Me" information. I started that website with absolutely no knowledge of HTML whatsoever.

Anyway, I hope that you now realise that whoever you are, whatever you do it is within the realm of possibility for you to make money on the internet.

Your opinion doesn't matter.

Now, don't be offended! Read on and you'll know what I mean.

When deciding on a home based business a lot of people think about property investing, share trading or internet. (Funny about that. They're the businesses I'm in.)

Anyway, I have found opinions to be unhelpful at best and downright dangerous at worst.

With my share/CFD trading I have a system that is very easy to follow. A monkey could do it! A couple of weeks ago I formed the opinion that the financial sector was going to fall even more. As luck(?) would have it, it bounced up giving me a lovely opportunity to go short because my opinion was that it still had further to fall.

Trouble was I had no signal to go short as per my trading plan, but I wasn't going to let that minor detail stop me. I went short, but guess what? The financial sector kept heading up. Lucky I adhered to my stop and didn't lose too much money.

So much for my opinion, I should have stuck to my trading plan.....

Now to property investment.

My opinion is that a lovely blue feature wall looks lovely with yellow walls. An ochre coloured feature wall takes my fancy too. And purple, my favourite colour must fit in there somewhere, doesn't it?

Sound yucky? May be it does, may be it doesn't. The point is that such colours will clash with the majority of renters furniture. The renter who has the perfect furniture and loves those particular colours may not get to see your property at all!

So even though neutral colours may, in your opinion, be boring the fact is they would suit the vast majority of renters. If the renter wants colour they can get some vibrant cushions and throw rugs etc.

Now let's get to the internet.

In my opinion I have written some fabulous ads to post on traffic sites. I expected to see a big boost in the number of visitors to my site, people signing up for my ezine and success course etc.

I thought that if I did a google ad campaign for an audio bible over Easter I was bound to make a ton of sales.

Yes, I got a few sign ups for my ezine. A few people clicked on my bible ad but failed to buy.

See where having an opinion gets me? NOWHERE!

As Dr Phil says "... and how's that workin' for ya?"

If somethings not working, despite our opinion to the contrary, we have to change our tactic. It's not about being right or wrong, it's about doing what works. Usually, we have to work on ourselves before our business can possibly be successful.

Feel free to share some of your opinions.

Anyone can build an online business.

It's making money that's the issue ;-)

Hello and welcome to my blog.

If you are passionate about ANYTHING you can build an internet business. So if you have not even thought about building your own business, have just started, or have been around for a while but just don't seem to be getting anywhere then this is the place for you.

My aim is to provide business ideas and inspiration to anyone who reads or participates in this blog.

My primary website is about personal development. In my opinion and experience your level of wealth will never exceed your level of personal development.

I've known many people who have tried to make money out of share trading and property investment with varying degrees of success. In all cases, their successes (or lack of) has never had anything to with their intellgence or their level of education.

Those that succeed do so purely because they believe and trust in themselves. They know that success is the end result of failing many times and persist despite their failures always learning from them and not mulling over them. They take risks, but don't gamble and know the difference between calculated risk and gambling.

Anyway, I hope you join me on this blog and share ideas and inspiration with other participants.

I look forward to sharing with you!
Sharon
